June student of the month Nikki Grier makes everyone happy with a simple smile. She blends a sweet spirit with a strong heart. We are excited to have Nikki share her thoughts with us!

“So I’m like many others in that I came to yoga originally for the physical benefits. I took my first class in college and realized there is so much more to it than physical exercise, and that in fact that’s only a small part of yoga!

To me, my practice is centering. It keeps me grounded and is a constant reminder to work on being a better person.

Also, I’m currently in the process of becoming a yoga teacher! This is something I’ve felt drawn to do for quite some time and I finally realized there’s no better time than right now; after all that’s all we’ve got! I fell in love with yoga because of the way it has changed and continues to change my life in such a positive way. Practicing yoga is such a wonderful way to live life. So naturally I want to share it with as many people as I can!” 💛
