May student of the month is the awesome Jill Millar! Jill has attended practice at Anjali for 19 months. She dedicates herself to practice each time she comes to the mat. Always ready to laugh and connect with others, Jill inspires us all with her quick smile, and her beautiful British accent! Yay! Jill shared some of her thoughts about her yoga practice! Why and how did you come to practice yoga?
I was recommended to Anjali by a nutritionist here in Asheville who thought it would be an excellent activity for my overall health.
What does your practice mean to you?
My practice means a lot to me and I feel much stronger physically since I began Yoga. I am one of the ‘senior’ senior students and even though my body is not as flexible as when I was younger, the benefit of yoga has helped tremendously and I feel so much more energized.
What would you like to tell others about the practice of Yoga?
Go for it – you’re never too old to start!, The Yoga experience really does benefit, both mentally and physically, your whole well being.
